FALL SOCCER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Fall 2012 Registration is now open. Registrations will be accepted for for Penn Legacy Academy for ages Under4/5 through Under 8 and HSC Rec for players Under 10 through Under 19. Please watch for periodic email blasts and announcements during the registration period.

NEWS!

HRFC “Knightmare” Rugby Frostbite Tournament and Penn Legacy Academy Cup took place during February and March.

Knightmare Rugby hosted their 3rd Annual Frostbite Tournament on Feb 25 & 26. High School teams and College teams competed.

Penn Legacy hosted the 5th Annual Academy Cup on March 3 and 4. Girls teams played on Saturday and the Boys played on Sunday.

Both tournaments took place at Hempfield HS Stadium and the Quad.

RECENT TOURNAMENTS

Lancaster will be the host location this June/July during the 2012 Region I Championships.
EPYSA is celebrating their 40th Anniversary. Congrats!

The pinnacle of the NSCAA Academy system, the Master Coach program is oriented toward coaches who already have significant knowledge and are looking to continue their professional
growth. “Master Coach” is the honor
Gary earned when he graduated at
the NSCAA Convention in Baltimore.

There are only 21 Master Coaches in
the U.S. and this is truly a prestigious honor.

Gary Ross, or “Rossi”, as he is fondly called by all Penn Legacy Academy & HSC Rec players, has earned some very prestigious honors recently. Rossi is the Penn Legacy Academy Program Director.

The U-12 girls Recreational teams had another great season. In the fall LAGS festival, out of 20 teams, the Hempfield U-12 girls placed 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th and 11th. HSC teams took first place in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions.

2012 SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT - FOR GRADUATING SENIORS

In 2012 the Club will award up to four, one-time $500 scholarships to Intramural players and up to four to Travel players (two to boys and two to girls in each category) graduating from high school during that year. Awards will be announced at the end of May. For more info please visit our Scholarship page.
