Mail-in: forms must be postmarked by June 15, 2008 (to avoid late fee and waitlist). |

The Academy
This is a new endeavor for the club and is a comprehensive program for Pre-K through U12 designed to place the focus on teaching our youngest players the skills and moves needed to truly enjoy the game of soccer. At Pre-K through U8, The Academy program will be based on having fun and learning skills. Once they graduate into our Intramural and Travel programs, still within The Academy, the players will progress into the 8v8 and 11v11 style of play, all the while working on their skills, footwork and knowledge of the game. The newly created position of Academy Director and his top notch staff will oversee this new look program for the club. more Academy info
Pre-K Program - This new Academy program for 3-5 year olds will teach our littlest players the basics of soccer. Shinguards required. Shirt provided. Space is limited. A Herr Park, Sunday afternoons.
Under-8 Program - This Academy program is designed to teach a progression of skills to our Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders. The emphasis is on building skills and having fun! There will be one 1-hour training session during the week (day determined by the parent coach volunteer) and a game on Saturday where players will demonstrate their newly acquired skills. Shirt and socks provided. Held at A Herr Park.
U10-U12 Intramural - This Academy age group will continue to work on their skills and knowledge of the game, with guidance from coaches and the Academy Director. They will play other local teams in refereed games. There will be two 90-minute training sessions during the week (days determined by the parent coach volunteer) and a game on Saturday or Sunday. Adidas jersey and socks provided in the fall will also be used for the spring season by returning players.
U14-U19 Intramural - This age group will train twice weekly for 90 minutes each and play weekly refereed games against other local teams on Saturday or Sunday. Adidas jersey and socks provided in the fall will also be used for the spring season by returning players.

Team rostering is a delicate balancing act - attempting to balance the combination of skills, abilities, ages, schools and volunteer coaches.

Club-wide fundraisers are held in the fall and spring.

General Information
- Recreational Program Registration is held in May for the Fall Season and in January for the Spring Season.
- Registration is open to all children Pre-K - grade 12 without residency restrictions.
- Girls Intramural League Rules for 7th Grade and Up: 7th & 8th grade girls who play soccer on the Middle School team are allowed to play on a U14 Girls Intramural team. High School girls are not allowed to play on both the High School team and Girls U16 & U19 Intramurals at the same time.
- Please include your email address with your registration to receive information regarding your child's registration and other Hempfield Soccer Club programs.
- All checks are payable to Hempfield Soccer Club.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy (Fall 2008 Season):

Withdrawals made before July 1, 2008 will result in refund of 100% of registration fee (less a $5 processing fee if payment made by credit card).

Withdrawals made after July 1, 2008 will be refunded 50%.
- Withdrawals made after August 1, 2008 will NOT be refunded
