FROSTBITE RUGBY

For Premier, Travel A & Travel B Teams

In 2012 this annual event will celebrate its 27th year!  On Nov 17 and 18, 2012 Penn Legacy will host over 600 Premier and Travel teams playing over 1000 soccer games during this weekend.  This is not only a great end of year soccer tournament, but it is also a great community project.  Penn Legacy provides over 1200 volunteers and other school and community organizations provide additional support staff of approximately 500 volunteers during the weekend.

For U9 - U12 Boys and Girls Teams

Penn Legacy hosts this invitational tournament. The 4th Annual Academy Cup was held the weekend of March 3 & 4 in 2012.  The event's theme is Safe and "Quality" soccer !  Invitations go out in November and December to select highly competitive teams. All games will be run with a 3 man referee system and played on the Penn Legacy / Hempfield HS Quad turf complex in Landisville, PA.  All teams are guaranteed three games.  Some games will be played under the lights as the evening progresses.

For College, High School (U19) mens and women's teams, and U15 (tackle) boys teams

A great opportunity for pre-season work in a tournament atmosphere. Participating teams get game experience for new players and shake-out the wrinkles for veteran players before the Spring season begins.  The event is for college, high school and middle school rugby teams.

The 2012 event will be held on February 25 and 26 on artificial turf fields.
